The O.C. one of the most succesful American television drama program broadcast on the Fox Network in the U.S. and on various networks around the world. It was an immediate hit upon its release in 2003[the first series] and was the first teen drama to capture critics and audiences alike since Beverly Hills 90210 a decade earlier(hope you still remember). "O.C." is short for Orange County, California. The series,has been created by Josh Schwartz, debuted on August 5, 2003, with the tagline, "The best new show of the fall is coming this summer." The show is almost two upper-class families in the southern California city of Newport Beach, in Orange County. Ryan Atwood,is a troubled guy from a dysfunctional family in Chino, California, goes living with an upper-class community. He is taken in under the care of Sandy Cohen, a successful lawyer who himself rose from humble roots, and his wife ,the wonderful Kirsten Cohen, daughter of enormously-wealthy Orange County real estate mogul, Caleb Nichol.
